The Designer should research appropriate designs, choose creative type, create effective color schemes, and coordinate with the production team to ensure the correct completion of projects.Research DesignsRead the corresponding text and meet with the Writer/Editor to obtain a full understanding of the product. Develop original themed layouts for the book using effective design elements, art, photos, type, and colors. Choose type in the headings and body text that is appropriate for grade level. Effectively implement color moods and color appropriateness for each grade level.Coordinate with Artists and IllustratorsOversee Production Artists to complete the layout of text.
