Pre-Press Supervisor

As Pre-Press Supervisor you will be responsible for getting the team ready to print the high volume of orders that come through our busy shop. All of these duties are certainly a full-time position but during busy times you will also be asked to assist the production staff on press. Our shop is spacious and temperature-controlled but those who are not comfortable around large presses need not apply. Job Duties: -Manage incoming orders and communicating with customers -Generating proofs and print-ready separations from customer artwork -Shooting and preparing screens for production staff -Maintaining digital printers and company computers -Occasionally assisting production staff on-press Requirements: -Provable Graphic Design Skills and knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator -Experience in silkscreen / screen printing, embroidery or related field -Excellent customer service skills -Deadline and detail oriented -Comfortable with PC environment -Understanding of Pantone Matching System and color mixing Preferred: -Knowledge of Quickbooks or other Invoicing Software -Willingness to act in a broader supervisory role when needed -Able to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds -3+ years printing experience -3+ years Graphic Design experience Our company is growing by leaps and bounds.
