DESCRIPTION: Full Time with Benefits Pre-Press Technician with possible Graphic Design • While the use of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop are used, this is not a Graphic design position. • They ensure that the proper format, appearance, and layout of text and images is set before the full print run for brochures, catalogs, etc. is completed. Make small typo and image changes. • Resizing files to scale • Assist with typesetting or file creation as necessary • Mocking-up and preparing proofs for client approval; cutting, gluing, taping and folding • Perform color adjustments and corrections • Ability to complete work within fast pace deadline requirements • Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment • Additional responsibilities may be required as requested by management QUALIFICATIONS • Knowledge of stripping, digital, large format, and offset printing processes and impositions • Familiarity of the latest production software (Various RIP software’s, Metrix, Smart Stream plugin, etc.)
