Pre-Press Technician/Graphic Design

• Make sure that all electronic file specifications are compatible with Dorn’s Mac and the printer’s production process. • Plan with the Print Services Manager and the Printer (internal or external) for producing each color project according to the customer’s requirements and Dorn's production specifications. • Be a resource for marketing and other creative solutions.CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT • Teanwork is critical. • Have a deep understanding of how the production of print will successfully align with what is required of Coating, Cutting, Mounting and Bindery.ACCOUNTABILITIES • Ensure that typeset and print proofs are accurate and available to the customer in a timely fashion in line with Dorn’s requirements. • Develop and maintain a strong line of communication with Project Management and the Press Department.
