Prepress Designer

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a Prepress Designer for a new opportunity with our client located here in the Triad. The Prepress Designer is responsible for preparing and optimizing digital files for print production to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output. Job Duties • Prepare digital files for print production • Conduct thorough preflight checks to identify and resolve file errors • Adjust layout, formatting, and imposition to meet production specifications • Perform color correction and color management to ensure print accuracy • Create digital and/or hard copy proofs for internal and customer approval • Output files to printing devices following established production standards • Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to clarify file requirements • Maintain organized file management systems and documentation • Troubleshoot file or output issues to minimize production delays • Ensure adherence to quality standards and production deadlines Qualifications • High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associate's Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop • Strong understanding of print production processes, file preparation, and prepress workflows • Knowledge of color theory, CMYK processes, and color correction techniques • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects
