Standard Printing Company is seeking a Prepress Desktop Operator to join our growing G7 Master Certified commercial print operation. This position demands sharp attention to detail, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where quality is non-negotiable. About Standard Printing Company Review work orders, customer notes, and digital paperwork to fully understand project requirements.Verify document sizes, margins, bleeds, and color separations; remove unused or extraneous colors.Confirm fonts, graphics, and images process correctly; troubleshoot file issues before they reach the press.Prepare files for refining/RIP and build accurate press impositions.Output proofs for review and save final pages as press-ready PDFs for the correct workflow.Process files through Kodak Prinergy and resolve preflight or workflow errors as they arise.Partner with CSR, Job Planning, and Production teams to keep jobs moving on schedule.Maintain consistent quality, accuracy, and attention to detail on every file that leaves your station.
