Prepress Production Specialist

The Prepress Production Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that all graphics and artwork are in perfect alignment with our company's quality standards and client branding guidelines prior to going to print. This key position is vital in resolving any issues efficiently and on time to meet various project deadlines. This position requires working in-person out of Fort Wayne, IN.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all products align with customer expectations and company objectives.Review and refine output from graphic designers to guarantee completeness, accuracy, and high-quality graphics/layout consistent with standards.Interpret and apply customer, legal, and regulatory specifications accurately.Execute tasks within the production workflow and budget by adhering to work order specifications and company SOPs, alongside client brand guidelines.Demonstrate a solid understanding of transitioning a conceptual design into final artwork, including capabilities in proofing layouts.Contribute effectively within a team environment.Monitor project progress, check work order ETAs, and confirm finishing touches.Maintain and document reference materials, graphic standards, and production templates.Communicate effectively to minimize errors between design and production phases.Seamlessly alternate between production and design tasks as necessary.Oversee all finishing work needed for items, ensuring a smooth installation process on-site.Verify final shipping inventory and coordinate with the lead installer, shipping, and warehouse teams to ensure all necessary information and materials are delivered to the show site.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.Strong visual design skills with an emphasis on typography and layout.3-5 years of experience in a similar or related role.Expertise in quality assurance processes.Exceptional attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure.Proficient in Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite.Possess a positive attitude and strong team-oriented spirit.Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.BenefitsThe Freeman Company is dedicated to offering benefits that support the mental, physical, and financial well-being of our employees and their families.
