Prepress Technician

The ideal candidate would be a team-oriented, highly organized individual, with prepress experience. The job is a full time position with health benefits, 401K and PTO, with compensation depending upon a candidate's experience. They also prepare the job for production using XMF electronic imposition software. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Preflight jobs through proofing and file management • Setup Electronic Imposition for each job • Send out proofs to clients • Troubleshoot job files Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position SECONDARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain prepress printers and order supplies • Minor graphic design as required • Perform other job-related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION The Prepress Technician should have a certificate or associate’s degree in printing technology, or the equivalent experience. They should have excellent computer skills and experience with XMF Workflow Systems and Adobe.
