Prepress Technician

We are a Commercial Printing Company with a heavy focus on the web to print B2B and B2C storefronts, graphic design services, quality commercial digital and offset printing, variable data, mailing services, and structural engineering for custom packaging. One minute you could be prepping a list for variable data printing, the next you could be building a custom box and dieline around a customer’s product, or creating a custom template for a web to print product. - Graphic design experience and ability to manipulate and correct customer files - Strong prepress background, including color management, imposition, trapping, variable data, preflight and file preparation - Strong base knowledge in specialty finishing including: types of folds, stitching, custom packaging, diecutting, embossing, foil stamping, spot UV, etc - Strong file troubleshooting skills and variable data experience - Offset and Digital cut-sheet printing knowledge - Experience working in packaging software, generating dielines and working a CAD machine - Experience building and maintaining Online Storefronts, including creating custom interactive templates with customer supplied artwork **Experience with Aleyant Pressero a plus** - Ability to prioritize job flow and work efficiently for timely production Knowledge is king: C&P, NCOA, de-dupe, provide postage amounts is a plus - Experience operating various digital cut sheet printing devices, including Xerox digital production presses and Large Format Printers is a plus - Knowledge of Web design, HTML, SEO, SEM, and social media a plus
