Press Operator, Web Offset

Since opening in 1984, Signature has become one of the largest printers in the Pacific Northwest, and we are currently looking for a Press Operator (Night Shift) to operate our Cold- and Heat-set Web Offset Printing presses at our Spokane (Airway Heights) plant. This position is a leadership role and will assist in directing the work the work activities of the press crew members to ensure productivity, quality and safety goals are met. COMPENSATION: Non-exempt (hourly) wage BENEFITS: Medical, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending account (FSA), short- and long-term disability, paid time off (PTO), 401(k) plan BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have at least 5 years experience as a Press Operator on multi-web, four- color coldest and/or heatset offset presses Must have thorough knowledge of Web Press printing processes Must follow safety guidelines at all times Must regularly lift and/or move 25 to 50 pounds Successful completion of a pre-employment background check Basic proficiency in English OTHER DUTIES Other duties as assigned including quality control and cleaning of work area Night shift, with some overtime needed to support production deadlines and unanticipated events.
