Print Machine Operator & Graphic Design

Print Machine Operator & Graphic Design Looking for an individual to join an expanding print department that focuses on printing large windscreen graphics, and wall padding graphics for athletic facilities. You will be assisting the print lead in handling the print process across multiple grand format printers, outputting jobs up to 126” wide on a range of different materials. In addition, may require assisting with graphic design as well. Responsibilities include: • Daily printer maintenance and cleaning of machine parts • Loading and unloading material; requires the ability to lift objects that weigh 50+ pounds • Organizing the print workspace • Working with RIP software to process jobs • Troubleshooting print errors • Communicating with the print team and production team • Working with the print team to ensure color and job accuracy • Verify print accuracy during the printing process • Assisting with graphic design, as needed • In downtime, assist warehouse with manufacturing/production of windscreen and other products (support role) Qualifications Include: • High attention to detail • Team-Friendly experience • Familiarity with simple computer operations on Windows System • The ability to lift heavy objects; 50 pounds + • The ability to stand/move around on your feet for a large portion of day • Will be in a warehouse environment so will need to be able to withstand outdoor climate elements (heat/cold) • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with Illustrator and/or vector image manipulation. • Experience with CMYK printing is a plus Helpful Qualifications include: • Bilingual (Spanish) • Familiarity with Fiery RIP software, or other RIP software • Familiarity with EFI/VUTEK Print machines • Experience in print machine operations and maintenance To Apply: Please submit your resume.
