Small print shop looking for energetic individual with a positive, helpful attitude toward customers and co-workers. Production Team Responsibilities (10%) • Update and maintain production job status board • Coordinate with Production Team to produce work at a standard of quality and meet specified turnaround times • Develop, improve, and maintain customer relations • Perform other administrative functions as assigned Graphics Production (20%) • Perform graphics work using production management software. Tasks include layout, typesetting, design, variable data, proofing, etc • Organize and maintain graphics artwork archive Print Production (70%) • Read work orders and determine the production process needed for each project • Operate and maintain digital printing equipment • Operate and maintain wide format printing equipment • Perform various finishing tasks such as trimming, folding, collating, padding, drilling, mounting, laminating, hemming, etc using bindery equipment • Pack and prepare finished products for delivery or pickup Preferred Qualifications: -Detail-oriented – striving for the highest quality. -Good mathematical skills are required – the ability to measure (using a ruler or tape measure) and calculate. -Ability to follow directions and work independently – dependable, self-motivated and organized.
