Print Production Designer

We are a full-service marketing and print communications company based in Providence, RI. We currently operate as a team of 8 with a focus on customer service, account management, graphic design, and production. The individual will be responsible for: • Preflight, graphic design, and production overflow • File design and management which includes; • Intake and review of customer provided electronic files and ensuring all files are Print Ready for production • Performing daily and weekly file storage • Determining customer design objectives, designing native files utilizing Adobe Creative Suite Primary • File management which includes: • Intake of customer files and reviewing files for print production • Imposing and processing print ready production files for internal production • Sending files to a variety of internal print production devices and ensuring pristine, print ready files are delivered to outsourced vendors per their specification and profiles. Job Qualifications • 3 years' experience in Pre-flight, Graphic Design and Digital Print Production • Print ready file experience • Understanding what is needed for a file to be Print ready • Knowledge of how to update a file to Print Ready requirement • Knowing how to prepare files for Mailings and Postal requirements a plus • Adobe Creative Suite expertise • Strong computer skills, both MAC and PC • Microsoft office effectiveness • Ability to work and operate digital printers and large format printers • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to do what is needed for the business to be successful • Dependable, trustworthy, and honest
