Print Shop Designer & Operator

Overview

Join Minuteman Press print shop team as a Print Shop Designer & Operator. You will be producing high-quality printed materials, combining your graphic design expertise with technical printing skills. Your passion for design and hands-on manufacturing will drive the creation of print advertising, signage, promo products, apparel, packaging, and more.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to develop compelling layout designs using Adobe Creative Suite.
Prepare digital files through prepress processes, ensuring color accuracy and proper formatting for various printing methods.
Operate digital printing and bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, etc.
Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify and resolve issues related to print quality, alignment, or material defects.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Assist customers in person, via email, and over the phone.

Requirements

Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop for print.
Knowledge of typography and print advertising standards to produce visually impactful materials.
Experience with digital print operations.
Experience at Staples or FedEx print operations Very Helpful, but not required.

No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays. Standard Hours: 8:30-5pm.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
