We are looking for an operator for our printing department. The chosen person will need to operate large format Mimaki printers, and apply vinyl to different substrates. Printer sizes range from 63" to 126". We need someone to help with all sorts of printing processes and need someone who is comfortable working with and being around with heavy machinery! Operation of printers, cutters, and laminators Cutting stickers, large signs, etc in accordance with registration marks Weeding Vinyl Mounting of graphics to various substrates Work closely with management to ensure production schedules are maintained Inspect completed work for quality assurance Daily monitoring of inventory levels - vinyl, ink, substrates, etc Clean work area at end of the day Installation of vinyl signs and vehicle graphics Qualifications: Be courteous and on time Maintain a positive attitude Pay attention to detail Accomplish daily assigned tasks in timely manner Assist co-workers with other duties as needed Responsible for punching time clock: Start of shift, out for lunch, back in from lunch and at end of shift Willingness to learn Vinyl installation experience Ability to operate heavy duty machinery
