About the Role
The role of the Print/Surface Designer is to design, execute and deliver prints for all of Swig Life products and customers. This position contributes to the overall success of our products and brand. We are looking to hire a well-organized, artistic individual with a passion for creative excellence to design and deliver quality products.

What You’ll Do
Design and manipulate prints/graphics for a variety of customers, themes, and productsResearch market trends, colors, techniques, and products to implement into designsCreate and manipulate digital mockupsCreate production-ready artwork for a variety of materials and productsReview samples and communicate feedback/edits as neededReview product photography and communicate feedback as neededAssist with the creation of concept boards and customer presentationsAssist with the creation of product packaging as neededAssist with special projects for key and corporate accounts
Who You Are
Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field3+ years of experience in print/graphic design or a related role within the fashion/retail spaceProvide a strong design portfolio showcasing skills in illustration, pattern creation, concept development, & color theoryProficient in Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office (Illustrator and Photoshop are a must)Experience with wholesale business and production process is a plusAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentThrive in a collaborative work environment, with the ability to work independently as wellStrong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to receive and interpret design feedbackPassion for Swig Life’s brand, design and product

Note: Swig Life is currently operating under an onsite work model, and this position will report on site to our Richmond office at least 3 days per week. Additional ad-hoc in office days may be required based on business needs. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable with an on site-work model.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000-$90,000 annually. Most candidates can expect to be positioned within the low to mid-range of the designated compensation band. This approach is designed to set realistic expectations while providing employees with the opportunity for growth and development within their roles. Placement toward the higher end of the band may be considered based on relevant experience, specialized skills, and other qualifications.
