Working under established policies, procedures, and project guidelines, the Designer provides essential technical knowledge to produce high‑quality design deliverables.The role may also serve as a Design Area Lead, reviewing the work of other designers and supporting coordination across disciplines to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.Key Responsibilities Apply project drawing standards to Smart Plant P&I design drawingsPrepare 2D CAD drawings of moderate to advanced complexityCreate layouts and schematics for conceptual and detailed designsReview and check design work completed by other DesignersIncorporate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) considerations into all designsDeliver quality work while meeting project schedules and requirementsExecute project tasks in accordance with approved work plansInterface closely with other disciplines to support integrated design solutionsAdhere to industry codes, standards, and established design proceduresContribute to continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and best practicesPlan, organize, and complete assignments as directedQualifications Education & ExperienceAssociate degree (or global equivalent) in a technical fieldA combination of education and directly related experience totaling 10 yearsExperience in industrial or engineering project environments preferredTechnical SkillsHands‑on experience with Smart Plant P&IProficiency in AutoCAD, Brics CAD, and BluebeamStrong understanding of P&I development, layouts, and schematicsFamiliarity with industry codes, standards, and design best practicesKnowledge of additional Hexagon tools is a plusProfessional SkillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communication skills with designers, engineers, and project teamsAbility to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environmentWork EnvironmentContract position (open‑ended)100% onsite — no remote or hybrid optionCollaborative, project‑driven engineering environmentWho Should Apply?This role is ideal for P&I Designers who:Prefer onsite, hands‑on project workEnjoy complex layouts and technical challengesHave experience checking or leading design workAre seeking a stable, long‑term contract opportunityTRS Staffing Solutions are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome you to provide OFCCP data voluntarily here.#J-18808-Ljbffr
