Production Artist

Arkansas Graphics is seeking an experienced production artist.

P roduction artist a pplicant must be self-motivated, work well in a team environment and have the skills and experience to jump right into our fast-paced, quality-driven production environment.

Applicants must have an eye for design and experience in Adobe creative suite. You will be responsible for creating new designs for commercial printing, updating previous designs and pre-flighting client files for production. Attention to detail, the ability to effectively manage and prioritize workflow as well as organize and maintain files is necessary. Experience in a print-shop setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities IncludeDesign, create and edit a wide variety of print materials.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Proper grammar and punctuation.Follow job instructions and clients\' design parametersDetailed time and materials tracking.Generating and editing PDF files for use in high resolution commercial printing.Ensure all orders are completed on time meeting customers’ expectations.Properly using and maintaining all department tools and equipment.
