Production Artist, Entry Level Graphic Designer

Location: Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Artist to support the creation, revision, and delivery of marketing and creative assets across print and digital channels. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong technical design skills, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

The Production Artist will work closely with designers, writers, and marketing partners to update existing creative materials, prepare production-ready files, and ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and project deadlines.

Responsibilities

Produce, update, and finalize creative assets for print, digital, email, social media, and marketing campaigns
Execute revisions and version updates based on stakeholder feedback
Prepare production-ready files that meet technical and quality requirements
Ensure consistency with established brand guidelines across all materials
Adapt existing creative assets into multiple formats, sizes, and channels
Review files for accuracy, layout quality, typography, image resolution, and overall quality control
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Organize and maintain digital assets, templates, and production files
Partner with designers, writers, and marketing teams to deliver projects on schedule
Troubleshoot production issues and identify process improvements when needed

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
4+ years of experience in a Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar role
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Acrobat
Strong understanding of print production processes and digital asset requirements
Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within an in-house creative team, agency, or marketing department
Familiarity with project management and digital asset management tools
Experience with template-based design, large-scale versioning, or variable data projects
