Production Associate - Part Time

Confidential San Francisco Bay Area, California

Part Time - 20-25 hours per week Event Production • Review contract, riders and mark-up with ED • Advance technical specifications and DOS with tour manager • Communicate talent hospitality and duties of key volunteers with Event House Manager • Obtain marketing assets from ED, agent or tour manager • Submit all permit applications • Schedule vendors, talent lodging, security, parking, backline, loaders, sound and lighting techs per contract • Coordinate talent transportation to and from venue with event house manager or per rider • Create show production schedule & post in key places throughout the venue • Attend all production meetings • Post all Foundry events to online calendars • Track all rental, hospitality, lodging, labor costs ensuring costs stay within pre-approved budget • Sell tickets for Foundry events to general public over the phone or in person • Ensure production-related inventory is on hand: towels, linens, radios, etc. Prep & set-up for Event House Manager Foundry “Season” Events • Responsible for production needs for events such as: Jerry Bash, Psychic Fair, Craft Fair (Winter/Spring), Fright Night, New Year’s Eve, Dance Festival, Martinis & Mistletoe, Theatre by the Book, Readers Theatre, Foundry Sings, Foundry Dance Night and other regularly scheduled • Coordinate with event producers for vendor shows and off-site shows • Determine décor and coordinate with staff and, as needed, volunteers, for decorating at Foundry events • Order linens and additional equipment required by these events General Event • Website, Facebook & Eventbrite: all Foundry events and select public events to be launched in a timely manner on the Foundry Website, Facebook and Eventbrite. • Initiate and oversee graphic design for all Foundry events and season events • Request and distribute all marketing materials for Foundry produced events • Ensure all event printed graphic materials distributed through end of event • Schedule poster distribution • Place posters in the Alpha Building and banners in various locations, removing when show is over • Ensure the production schedule is up to date and completed in a timely manner for personnel scheduling • Contribute to Miners Foundry on-line social networking weekly Other duties as assigned
