Production Designer

SALARY/HOURLY RATE: $65k POSITION OVERVIEW: The Production Designer must have experience working on product packaging. Mechanicals will range from packaging, in-store, advertising, and digital. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRODUCTION DESIGNER: • Focusing on the production and mechanical work for multiple brands (fragrance, skincare, luxury beauty, and lifestyle) • Creating materials by hand or using technology and creative software suites to generate illustrations, layouts, and designs • Generating drafts and mockups of proposed designs for the client to review and make revisions as requested • Maintaining client communication from project start to finish • Reviewing final work with clients and making final revisions or delivering the product to the client QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PRODUCTION DESIGNER: • 3 - 5 years of experience in production design • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat • Excellent attention to detail • Knowledge of packaging design, printing, materials, and structure • Retouching capabilities • Ability to create mechanical files from concept • Strong verbal and written communication skills EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related major BENEFITS: • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401k • PTO and more As a woman-owned firm, we value diversity.
