The Milwaukee Art Museum seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Designer to support the development and delivery of visually consistent, brand-aligned materials across digital and print platforms. Duties & Responsibilities • Support Design Execution: Assist the Senior Designer in creating and formatting print and digital materials for programs, events, exhibitions, campaigns, Director’s office requests and other Museum initiatives. Qualifications • Associate or bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field, or equivalent work experience • 1-3 years of production or graphic design experience, preferably in a creative or nonprofit setting • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and preparing files for both print and digital output • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and file organization • Ability to manage multiple projects on deadline in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Demonstrated maturity and discretion, as this role will be involved in supporting Director’s Office requests involving Board-level initiatives, labor union–related matters, and crisis communications. • Familiarity with exhibition production or museum environments is a plus. Ability to work with a wide variety of people to achieve the goals of the Museum.
