Production Designer

Responsibilities Work hand in hand with production to process jobs and problem solve in real time Work closely with sales reps to create proofs and/or mockups to portray design ideas that meet client expectations Effectively communicate and coach sales reps around our design capabilities and what to pitch or not pitch to a client and why Provide creative and premium solutions to unique projects on a daily basis Ability to take autonomy in designs as well as take direction from clients Effectively communicate important details or issues which effect the companies’ ability to meet customer expectations in a timely manner Create laser ready production files Propose innovative solutions to improve processes and overall design efficiency Participate in quarterly product launches from ideation to market Special projects as assigned Requirements Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, experience working in CorelDRAW is strongly preferred Drive to exceed expectations and continually improve processes Able to work independently with little supervision and get the job done Adaptable to fast paced and ever- changing work environment Manufacturing or production experience preferred Experience with product photography preferred Bachelor’s degree or technical training in a design related field preferred Woodworking or fine craft experience is a plus!
