Production Graphic Designer

Position: Production Graphic Designer (6-Month Contract) Who We Are:Since 1906, New Balance has empowered people through sport and craftsmanship to create positive change in communities around the world. The individual in this role will work a hybrid schedule, with three days per week on‑site at our headquarters in Brighton, MA (Tuesday through Thursday) and two days per week remotely.MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:Under the direction of Lead Designers, Team Manager, or the Creative Director, the Jr. Production Graphic Designer will execute a variety of creative projects (for example, global and regional emails, site components, social, affiliate banners, OOH and occasionally print advertising).They will be expected to handle several projects at a time and keep the Lead Designer & Global Ops Coordinator informed of any issues that may arise. Keeping a high level of creative output while holding to deadlines is a must.REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:Bachelor degree in design, 2+ years work experience creating and designing special projects. Proven knowledge and success in working across a variety of formats.In addition to design, typical duties include routing creative for approvals, following up often to keep deadlines on track, preparing, and uploading final working files to our DAM system.This person should have advanced knowledge of Figma, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.Prior experience working in a project workflow management app such as Asana or Pro Workflow is preferred.Decision‑Making Authority:The Production Graphic Designer candidate will get direction from a Lead Designer and does not have the authority to make decisions on artwork.
