Production Lead / Asst Graphic Designer

We, at Fastsigns Savannah, are a Fast-paced locally owned sign company seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Lead (Primary Role) / Assistant Graphic Designer (back up as needed) to join our creative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend leadership with hands-on production work and ensuring the seamless execution of visual projects across various platforms. As a key contributor, overseeing production will be crutial to keeping workflow seemless and efficient . Your energetic approach and passion for design will help elevate our brand presence and deliver high-quality visual content that resonates with audiences. (This is NOT a remote position)

Responsibilities

Must have a Professional appearance and a Positive outlook.Multi-task—work on different projects and machines simultaneously.Prioritize workflow; communicate to production staff daily; supervise the production process.Primary duties are running printers/equipment and production.Organize workflow through the production process.Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-construction.Communicate with other employees and customers in a calm and professional manner.Keep the production area neat, clean and organized.Assess and maintain current technology; notify Franchisee of any needed updates.Train employees on equipment, tools and efficiency-building methods.Serve as a backup for overflow design needs.Serve as backup in answering the phone and assisting at front counter if the franchisee, center manager and sales/service employees are not available.Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.Communicate with other employees regarding timing, extra charges, errors to enable them to keep customer advised of situations.Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.Participate in and practice the brand mentality of “Everybody Sells”. Constantly be looking for sales opportunities for the center.Understand the sales process to consult with customers to determine project needs and solutions.Qualifications

Ability to stand for long periods of time.Ability to use light equipment.Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator) ***MUST have some experienceAbility to lift 50 or more pounds.Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.Solid understanding of layout design and visual design best practices.Experience in sign manufacturing or production design is a plus.Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients or team members.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
