General knowledge of and interest in the culture of design and the arts is preferred. The MFA in Graphic Design at VCFA is an innovative low-residency program built around students’ interests, values, and creative goals. They remain in close consultation with their faculty advisor through email, phone, or video conference. VCFA’s administrative offices are located in Montpelier, Vermont’s vibrant and scenic state capital.
