Description: The Pre-Press Graphic Designer provides critical support to the sales and production teams by preparing accurate, press-ready files for print and ensuring artwork meets production specifications and client expectations. The ideal candidate has strong computer skills, a solid command of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator and Acrobat), and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Essential Functions and Duties • Prepare and finalize artwork for wide-format printing, packaging, and signage applications • Review customer-supplied files and correct issues related to color, resolution, bleed, and layout • Preflight and package print files for internal production or outsourced vendors • Cross-reference artwork with job specs and purchase orders to ensure accuracy • Create digital proofs for internal approval and client sign-off • Communicate file status, proof approvals, and production concerns with the sales and coordination teams • Update the production job board with artwork completion and release timelines • Ensure files are set up correctly for various production equipment (e.g., flatbed printers, cutters, routers) • Maintain organized file systems and follow version control best practices • Perform additional design or production tasks as assigned They are not intended as a complete list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
