PT Retail Associate - Graphic Design/Retail

At River Bend Business Products, our retail associates are usually the first person a potential customer comes in contact with when entering our retail stores. You are in a unique position to represent our company each and every time a customer chooses to visit our store. The first impression you make is very important to the helping, caring philosophy we have been providing since 1982. Our goal is to provide a positive shopping experience for every customer. You will need a positive attitude, an easy manner when interacting with customers and the ability to work well alone or as part of a team. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly, answer their questions, and assist them in finding the proper products or help provide their needed print services. * Gain ongoing knowledge of the products and services we offer to be able to make recommendations and proper product/service selections. * Learn and become proficient in our point-of-sale software to be able to register cash, credit and in-house charge sales accurately and quickly. * Assist with opening and closing procedures with precise attention to detail. * Collaborate with other retail associates and management to assure all orders & projects are delivered on time as promised. * Ability to calmly handle any minor issues, present solutions. *What We're Looking For:* * Perfect position for college students, persons mixing with another part-time job or somebody who is easing back into the work force! * Flexible scheduling, select hours you are available to work. * An understanding of great customer service from experience or experiences you have had. * Retail experience with an understanding of retail store sales processes. * Creativity in helping customer design projects * Ability to prioritize tasks and to complete many varied tasks within the work day. * Superior quality control standards. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis in Word & Excel) is a strong plus. * Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (emphasis in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) is a strong plus. * Print production and/or copying experience is a strong plus. *Education:* * High School Diploma with experience in dealing with customers. * Currently in College seeking a Graphic Design or Marketing degree.
