Purple, Rock, Scissors is seeking a Visual Designer for a Big Tech client supporting a high-visibility initiative to evolve the creator and publisher experience across Search and Discover. You’ll partner closely with the Art Director and design team to translate vision into polished, production-ready visual assets that support both product and go-to-market needs.This is a strong fit for designers who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about visual craft, especially those who enjoy navigating complex design systems and collaborating across product, marketing, and engineering workflows. Bonus if you have experience working with content creators or within social platforms.Fully Remote role. US hours required (PST, CT, or EST). 6-Month Contract. Full-Time Hours.Key Responsibilities Support the Art Director in creating high-quality visual assets for product and go-to-market initiativesDesign reusable components, visual variants, and branded assets that support evolving product needsBuild high-fidelity mockups aligned with established brand guidelines and large-scale design systemsApply and adapt design system patterns across consumer-facing experiences while maintaining visual consistencyMaintain clean, well-structured, and collaborative Figma files and asset librariesPrepare organized files, exports, and documentation for seamless handoff to engineering and marketing partnersIterate quickly on feedback while maintaining a high bar for visual quality and polishEnsure precision across typography, spacing, layout, hierarchy, and overall visual executionRequired Qualifications BA/BS in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceAdvanced proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, variables, and librariesExperience working within established design systems and brand guidelinesFamiliarity with design-to-engineering and design-to-marketing handoff processesAbility to collaborate effectively with distributed, cross-functional teamsFoundational motion design skills with the ability to create prototypes and motion specsConsent to SMS and Phone Call CommunicationsBy submitting your application, you acknowledge and consent to Purple, Rock, Scissors (PRPL) collecting and using your email address and phone number for recruitment communication purposes.
