Quality Control Representative

We are a rapidly growing online printing company with multiple facilities across the United States and we are looking for a highly-motivated individual with previous experience in the Printing industry or Design field to join our Quality Control team here at our headquarters in Burbank, CA. Daily Tasks and Responsibilities: • Help investigate and resolve CS issues related to product or service complaints—print color, bindery or cutting issues, late orders, damaged products, etc. • Respond to customer problem tickets in a timely fashion using compassion and professionalism • Inspect submitted artwork files and batch PDF's, cross-reference submitted artwork vs. collected/batched artwork • Stay up-to-date on all our new products and processing rules so you are able to give out accurate information to customers • Being great at multi-tasking, being quick, and having a keen attention to detail will make you successful at this position Knowledge and Skill Requirements: • Previous experience in the Printing industry or Design field a major plus • Good knowledge of design programs including Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro & Illustrator an ABSOLUTE MUST (please do not apply without it) • Working experience in an electronic pre-press environment (Prinect or/and Prinergy work-flow) a plus • Keen understanding of CMYK, RGB, and PANTONE processes • Understanding how to break down an artwork file to see how it was created and inspect it for layers issues, paths/hidden paths, overprints, etc.
