Star Children’s Dress Company designs and produces fashionable yet affordable dresses for girls. With offices in New York City and a distribution center in Amelia, Virginia, we pride ourselves on creativity, quality, and a mission to bring joy through design.Position Overview: We’re seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team in New York. This internship offers hands-on experience in fashion and retail branding, working closely with our design teams. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of visual design and a passion for children’s fashion. Outstanding interns may be offered a full-time position after the internship concludes.Responsibilities:Support the design team in developing graphics, prints, seasonal lookbooks, packaging, and product tags.Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute new design ideas.Organize and manage digital assets and design files.Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Strong eye for layout, typography, and color.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work on-site at our New York office.Preferred Skills:Interest in fashion, retail, or children’s apparel.Compensation & Schedule:Paid internship (hourly rate at $16.50 (2025) -> $17/hr (2026).Full-time summer or part-time during the school year.Potential for a full-time Graphic Designer role upon successful completion of the internship.
