Remote Commercial Real Estate Appraiser Needed

We are seeking an individual with 2+ years of commercial real estate appraisal & valuation experience or equivalent qualifications. The candidate will work alongside one of Marcus & Millichap’s leading teams; The applicant will be responsible for producing valuations and analysis for commercial properties which shall include: rent surveys, sales comparable surveys and land residual valuations for infill redevelopment sites. Provide a team of brokers with financial analysis and underwriting of single tenant leased properties, multi tenanted retail centers and redevelopment projects Analyze properties and write content that is both marketing oriented and accurately backed up by research Effectively utilize the internet to research and call on sources to collect property information Evaluate retail property’s financial income and expense and discounted cash flows in Excel, and assist in the underwriting development analysis for new properties Research current real estate data such as sales comparables and upcoming construction projects Maintain and update reports for team’s database (on a CRM platform). Communicate with both private and institutional clients, typically professionals with sophisticated real estate investment knowledge Create PowerPoint presentations and work closely with the marketing and client manager in preparation of research and analysis to be included in materials Become skilled in the use of our firm’s research, technology, and marketing tools Learn Marcus & Millichap’s approved methods for generating and circulating press releases and other promotional materials utilizing the Marcus & Millichap editorial style guide and branding Graphic design: to include the production of marketing/related materials utilizing Marcus & Millichap’s proprietary software (MNET-Offering) and standard software such as InDesign and Photoshop Brokerage administration and transactional tasks (new listings, under contracts, change requests and closings) Back-up support phones/front office Generate, copy, scan and bind documents for use by agents Founded in 1971 , Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI) is a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm focusing exclusively on investment sales, financing, research, and advisory services, with nearly 2,100 investment sales and financing professionals in 90+ offices throughout the United States and Canada .
