RFG Advisory is hiring: Graphic Design Intern in Birmingham

Job Type This internship offers hands-on experience in creating digital and print marketing materials in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This internship is designed to provide meaningful, career-building experience while supporting RFG's mission of empowering financial advisors through thoughtful, engaging, and well-executed design. Assist with the design and production of digital and print assets including social graphics, presentations, flyers, brochures, and web visuals Support creation of marketing collateral that maintains brand consistency across platforms Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts Help organize and manage brand asset libraries Contribute to updating visual elements across advisor and corporate materials Prepare design files for web, print, and internal distribution Assist in editing templates and layouts in platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite Participate in team meetings and offer fresh ideas and perspectives What You Won't Be Doing: Taking lunch orders (unless it's your idea and we're all invited) Fetching the boss's double espresso latte with a 50/50 blend of oat and almond milk Endlessly scrolling social media out of boredom - we've got plenty of creative work to keep you inspired Faxing documents or shuffling papers like it's 1997 Requirements Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience in Canva a plus Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling Familiarity with design best practices for web and social media Excellent communication and time management skills Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines Willingness to receive and apply feedback in a collaborative team environment Bonus: Familiar with the latest Ai integrations with design and creative process
