Robotics & Etiquette Teachers & Assistants

We are a multi-language immersion School in DC with an international curriculum with a mission to unleash the unlimited potential of early childhood students. We are currently hiring Teachers with a strong interest in adding Artificial Intelligence (AI) to complement our Montessori method of teaching as well as our in-house etiquette curriculum. Responsibilities: • Responsible for classroom instruction, lesson designs, and the ability and desire to model classes around current trends in education while still providing a solid fundamental base • With an AI module, create projects consisting of animation and creative stories to teach 2.5 years to 4-year-olds • Guide students in a hands-on and engaging computer science and technology (and engineering) curriculum designed to promote critical thinking and real- world application in problem solving across all the subjects • Teach the essential skills of our in-house developed etiquette lessons that will contribute to students’ development as educated and responsible individuals • Conveys enthusiasm for intellectual inquiry and project-based learning providing students with diverse entry points to computer science • Research new platforms, devices, software, and methodologies to ensure that the school stays abreast of technological and educational innovations • Take the lead in exploring emerging and innovative approaches to empower student learning and creativity • Establish clear objectives for all lessons, curricular units, and projects and communicates these objectives to the Program Director • Creates a fun, safe, and engaging environment for students Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree with strong organization skills and diligence • Ability to connect technological concepts to academic disciplines and interests • Familiarity and experience with design thinking, especially with the realm of computer science and technology • Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning innovative technologies quickly and designing curriculum accordingly to respond to emergent student interests • Contribute actively to the goals and success of all teams and team members through collaboration, cooperation, and flexibility • Experience with technology such as but not limited to animation, coding, cyber security, robotics, artificial intelligence, basic graphic design, sound or video editing, 3D printing Send in your resume to the craigslist address to be considered immediately!
