Graphic Designer & Digital Content SpecialistThe Graphic Designer & Digital Content Specialist is responsible for developing and executing high-quality visual content to support the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s marketing, communications, and program initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented professional who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.Design and produce marketing materials, including social media graphics, digital ads, email templates, reports, event collateral, signage, and presentations.Maintain brand identity across all platforms, ensuring visual consistency in typography, color schemes, and layouts.Create engaging short-form video content, animations, and multimedia assets to enhance digital storytelling.Support and maintain Sacramento Metro Chamber (including Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation and Metro PAC) websites, including updating visuals, content, and web graphics as needed.Assist in planning digital content strategies, including social media campaigns, email marketing visuals, and website content updates.Support email and multi-media marketing efforts.Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to develop promotional materials for the Chamber’s signature programs and events.Assist in photography and videography for events, ensuring high-quality visual assets are captured and archived. Occasional support beyond typical office hours.Organize and manage brand assets, templates, photo libraries, and design files.Stay up to date on design trends, digital marketing tools, and industry best practices to enhance creative output.Other duties as assigned.Education and/or ExperienceEducation Required:Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Experience Required:2-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, digital content creation, or multimedia production.Knowledge of HTML/CSS for web-related projects.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Canva.Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout design.Experience designing for print, digital, and social media platforms.Basic knowledge of website content management systems and email marketing platforms.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Experience:Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and animation for digital marketing.Experience working in nonprofits, associations, or membership-based organizations.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally, the employee may be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds.
