Screen Printer Needed

We also have an opening for a graphic designer with experience in color separations, printing of films for screen print and knowledge of embroidery files. This position will include pre and post press operations, coating, burning screens, mixing ink, screen registration, printing, cleaning and reclaiming screens. We have a fairly relaxed work environment, but are also very busy. You will need good communication skills, a sense of humor and the ability to stand on your feet and sling shirts for 6-8 hours a day (with breaks of course). Duties Include Checking in garments against purchase orders Read and follow detailed order instructions Prep Screens for printing (screen coating and exposing) Register screens and prepare garments and inks for printing Print multi-color designs on either a manual or automatic silk screen press depending on job Troubleshoot problems and ensure a quality end product Checking quality of print Setup and breakdown of screens and supplies for screen printing jobs on machines Screen Cleanup and Reclaiming Operating a Heat press Finishing and packaging of orders as needed including folding and bagging of garments Showing up on time for your shift is a must.
