Our client, a global consumer goods company is seeking a driven, innovative, and experienced Senior Brand Manager to develop their Marketing Team to ensure continued growth and evolution of their brand. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The focus of this role is to establish the unique selling proposition for the newly launched brand while ensuring that the brand drives category incrementality and wins share in the US! Salary/Hourly Rate: $60 - $80/hr Position Overview: The Senior Brand Manager will report to the VP of Marketing and will work remotely during COVID restrictions until normal operations resume at the US headquarters in Morristown, NJ. Responsibilities of the Senior Brand Manager: -Work closely with the global team to deliver the US agenda -Lead the agency partners and cross-functional team in equity building and delivering volume driving initiatives -Develop and coach one direct report to deliver upon brand goals, and ensure they grow into a well-rounded marketer -Determine short-term and long-term Brand Strategy Develop and execute annual brand plans, tracking results and course-correcting as needed -Translate local market knowledge and needs into innovation/product development pipeline and assortment strategies, collaborating with Global innovation and US cross- functional teams to deliver -Develop, validate and gain internal alignment for all elements of the marketing mix: concepts, claims, price, promotion and financials -Lead communications plans, advertising development, go-to-market execution and investment strategy across traditional and non-traditional media including Digital, Social, Influencer, ensuring that the brand’s premium positioning and the unique proposition is established in the US market -Create and present communications briefs to agencies/partners, test and approve all brand materials across paid/owned/earned -Responsible for P&L; management, leading development of brand financial plans, the annual financial planning process, S&OP; demand review meetings and accountable for approving the brand forecast, budget management, and T&E; for the team -Support Trade Marketing to translate brand strategy and business growth plans into Channel & Customer plans with agreed KPIs -Engage with Trade Marketing, Category Management, Sales, Marketing Ops & Supply Chain to support planning and execution of initiatives to secure financial commitments Efficiently manage relations with third-party vendors (i.e.: graphic design agencies, creative agencies, PR agencies, media agencies, etc.)
