Job Description:

As a Senior Designer at NWD, you will serve as the creative backbone of our agency projects, guiding clients through high-level design systems, brand strategy, and advanced website design. You will be responsible for defining aesthetic direction, conceptualizing end-to-end web experiences, and collaborating closely with front-end developers to bring complex, visually stunning designs to life. We are looking for an experienced design leader with exceptional skill in Figma, Creative Cloud, and a solid understanding of modern web design systems and page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi).

Responsibilities:

Lead high-level client consultations to dissect business objectives, brand strategy, and complex visual communication needs.Work with the full team on UI/UX design process, from comprehensive research and user journeys to wireframing, high-fidelity interactive prototypes when appropriate, and final design deliverables.Establish robust visual identities, brand guidelines, and design systems that translate seamlessly across web, mobile, and digital marketing channels.Partner closely with cross-functional leadership, strategist teams, and front-end developers to ensure creative excellence and technical feasibility.Mentor and provide constructive design reviews for junior team members, raising the agency's overall creative standards.Drive design quality control, user testing, and conversion optimization strategies to maximize ROI for client websites.Guide design implementation standards in modern CMS and page builder platforms (e.g., WordPress, Elementor, Divi) and ensure optimal browser/device performance.Act as a key creative lead in prospective client pitches and major account reviews.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Interactive Media, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of professional experience in web, UI/UX, and brand design (agency experience highly preferred) with a standout portfolio.Expert mastery of design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and modern design system architecture.Deep knowledge of responsive design principles, web standards, accessibility (WCAG), and UI/UX best practices.Hands-on proficiency with WordPress page builders (Elementor, Divi) and familiarity with modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).Demonstrated ability to present, pitch, and articulate complex visual ideas confidently to executive stakeholders and clients.Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills to lead multiple client initiatives under deadline.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
