A NYC US-based apparel design and manufacturing company with a strong international presence. With robust product development capabilities complemented by a keen understanding of trend, we produce apparel across its own proprietary labels and under license. The company also partners with leading retailers, providing them with current trend direction. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop sweater and cut and sew product from concept to customer color run samples for specific modern and updated private label clientele. Must have private label experience and be able to interpret trends and must have items within the DNA of each customer Excellent communication skills for development with overseas offices Excellent presentation skills Extremely organized and detail oriented Have a sense of urgency to complete all projects within a very tight timeline Ability to identify issues and create solutions outside of established parameters and guidelines Skills Strong attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Be able to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to work with a team and independently Must be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel Education Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or 8+years of related experience.
