About Us:
A digitally native Los Angeles beauty company looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to lead our small team’s day-to-day creative output. If you love beauty, branding, and great design — and you're ready to own the quality bar — we want to see your work.
The Role:
You'll be the senior design lead and quality gate for the graphics dept — designing at the highest level yourself while keeping the whole team's work sharp, on-brand, and on-time. You'll work directly with the Creative Director, run first-pass reviews, manage creative traffic, and bring structure to how design ships. This is a hands-on senior role with leadership: you set the standard and catch the errors before they reach the Creative Director.
What You'll Do
Design at a senior level across packaging, e-commerce, social, email, and printAct as a first-pass reviewer and quality gate for the team's creative outputManage creative traffic and timelines in Asana, keeping projects movingDirect product and content photoshootsReview and optimize short-form and UGC videos for conversionCoordinate creative across departments, including E-commerce and SalesMaintain brand consistency across every touchpointPartner with the Creative Director on direction and execution
What We're Looking For
7+ years of professional graphic design experienceCPG industry background required; beauty or cosmetics strongly preferredA portfolio that includes cosmetic packaging (required — applications without it will not be considered)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and short-form video editingStrong photo editing and retouching skills — color correction, compositing, clean product imageryExperience reviewing others' work and holding a quality barComfort managing traffic, timelines, and competing prioritiesBachelor's degree
