The Senior Graphic Designer is part of the Product Design Team, responsible for applying your strong design skills and innovative thinking to create new products for assigned product lines. Create and design various materials for print and digital collateralEnsure projects are completed with high quality and on scheduleEstablish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelinesPrioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictionsPerform retouching and manipulation of imagesCollaborate with design team on project conceptsDetermine voice and messaging for graphic design piecesDevelop product illustrations, logos, and other graphics as neededAdvise on best practices and optimizations throughout design projectsSelect colors, font, images, and layoutCreate visualizations (either by hand or via a software program) which convey accurate messaging and undertones as dictated by the projectPresent designs to stakeholders and applicable teamsImplement feedback and changes when appropriateQA designs for errorsPass final design to development or publishing teams for releaseOther related duties as assigned BFA, BA, or BS degree in Design, or equivalent combination of work experience and education3+ years of experience as a graphic designer in a creative department; in-house preferredStrong knowledge of design, product, and consumer trends in the action sports/outdoor industryKeen ability to trend research and encompass a full understanding of the market. Ability to communicate with sales and development teams to create individually appealing product and collateral materials.
