Senior Graphic Designer

Overview This role sits on the private label side of the business, producing packaging and related materials for major retail partners including Walmart, Target, CVS, and others. This position requires deep expertise in both graphic design and print production. The ideal candidate is not new to the industry and does not require foundational training in design or printing processes. Key Responsibilities Design and develop packaging and brand assets for private‑label consumer products, ensuring adherence to retailer‑specific standards and brand guidelines Manage projects from initial creative brief through final print production, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and on‑time delivery Perform detailed artwork review and proofing, maintaining a high level of quality control across all deliverables Prepare and review press‑ready files for offset, digital, and flexographic printing Work closely with external printers and vendors to ensure files are printable and final output appears as intended Handle a high volume of work (up to 500+ jobs per year), prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, sales, purchasing, and production teams Serve as a backup to the Graphic Design Manager, taking on advanced tasks and responsibilities that the junior designer is not yet equipped to handle Help free up the manager's time to focus on higher‑level initiatives and training of junior team members Provide guidance, feedback, and informal mentorship to a junior designer as needed Create high‑quality virtual, mockups, photography, and illustrations for packaging and related applications Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure all work meets internal standards and retailer requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field 7+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong emphasis on print and packaging production Proven experience managing projects from concept through print production
