As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead and elevate our design vision.

Job Summary:

The Senior Graphic Designer will oversee the graphic creative direction of Southern Marsh Collection, ensuring the brand maintains a strong, cohesive visual identity while continuing to innovate in the lifestyle apparel space across all touchpoints. This role is responsible for leading forward-season graphic/pattern print designs and wholesale catalog production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, product development, and brand identity, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for Southern culture.

What you'll do:

Lead the creative vision and direction for Southern Marsh Collection across all customer touchpoints
Contribute to the design process for forward-season apparel and accessories, ensuring alignment with the brand’s aesthetic.
Own the Company’s market leading graphic tee program creation process
Develop and utilize a network of outside artists to scale the graphic production process
Create print patterns for swim, outerwear and accessories
Collaborate with the Creative Director and team to conceptualize and execute innovative product designs including creation of seasonal mockups.
Work closely with manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure product excellence including supporting the Technical Design Team Lead on color strikeoff approvals, graphic print approvals.
Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and feedback.
Oversee branding, packaging, and marketing materials to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints. Maintain library of branding assets for use on products and in both online and physical marketing
Along with the Creative Director, develop Point of Sale fixtures and retail branding materials - maintain library of graphic programs with seasonal refreshers for Company owned stores and network of retailers
Lead the twice yearly wholesale catalog production in Adobe InDesign - work with printer to meet production timelines
Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive market shifts to keep the brand relevant and fresh.
Assist sales and production teams to create special makeups, support Corporate & Collegiate Licensed Apparel programs
Work collaboratively with marketing and merchandising teams to align creative direction with business strategies including assisting the Creative Marketing Lead with creation and approval of online marketing campaigns for website, social media and online advertising.
Lead daily team kickoff calls as well as weekly project status meetings; Regularly meet with other departments within the Company to ensure collaboration on evolving projects

What we're looking for:

5-10+ years of experience in graphic design or art creation related roles, ideally within the fashion industry.
Strong leadership experience, with a proven ability to mentor and manage a design team.
Expert level skill in sketching, drawing and painting - preferably both traditional art techniques and iPad based drawing - ability to utilize this artwork in tees and prints
Expert level knowledge in repeating pattern production in Adobe Illustrator
Knowledge of graphic preparation for silk screen printing
A deep appreciation for Southern culture and lifestyle aesthetics.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and project management software (Asana).
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
