Senior Graphic Designer

The Senior Graphic Designer is a talented, full-time graphic designer who works directly with the creative and production teams on marketing and event-based projects. They are well-versed in the creative process with a fierce passion for good design. The employee should be able to take projects from concept to final production with their assigned project teams. Paired with an Experiential Designer who specialized in 3D, the employee is assigned to an account team and is responsible for all 2D artwork. This individual should have great communication skills and be able to present concepts and designs at internal meetings and, on occasion, with clients. Designers are responsible for assisting and/or overseeing any onsite installation, production, sourcing, and styling of their designs. Types of projects may include branding, logo creation, large scale graphics, menu design, signage, web design, invitations, apparel, marketing collateral, mood boarding, and digital presentations.

Requirements:

BA/BFA in Graphic Design3-7+ years of marketing / advertising / design experienceSelf starter. Ability to work independently as well as in groupsStrong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and KeynoteFluency in the fundamentals of design and detail-orientedStrong eye for layout design and typographyExcellent organizational and communication skillsStrong project/time management and multitasking abilitiesPositive and enthusiastic attitudeStrong conceptual skills and good knowledge of current design trendsKnowledge of paper finishes, print materials, and all print methodsAbility to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environmentA strong portfolio showing past design work

Experience in Experiential Marketing and Event DesignGeneral knowledge of 3D CAD programs (Sketchup preferred)Video editing/motion graphics / interactive design abilityFamiliarity with CSS, HTML, and web typography

Salary: $80k - $110k (dependent on experience)
