Senior Graphic Designer

This position is hybrid for employees residing in the Greater Houston area. Remote employment is available for candidates residing in Texas (outside the Greater Houston area), Colorado, Florida, Oregon, Tennessee, or the District of Columbia.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on expert in visual design and will work closely with a team of designers, art directors, marketing, copywriters, developers and others to elevate client brands and marketing programs. Responsible for bringing design solutions to life which adhere to marketing strategies and business goals. Creative problem-solving skills, pixel perfect precision, an appreciation for creative strategy and mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite are a must.

Responsibilities

Use your strong eye for aesthetics and visual details to ensure a quality final productLearn and understand each client’s business, market and target audiencesCreate a variety of brand driven channel executions for our clientsCollaborate on marketing campaign developmentExecute development of sales and marketing assets aligned with client objectivesCollaborate, support and mentor other designers, providing feedback and guidance on design execution

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and experience in design, visual, interactive, or UX design10+ years of professional design experience, agency environment a plusA portfolio of work that can be accessed onlineDemonstrated knowledge of industry standard design processes, methods and toolsAn understanding of the methodology and standards of web designKnowledge of interface and user experience design best practices for all screen sizes and devicesComfortable working in a dynamic, team-based environmentDemonstrated knowledge of design and technology trendsExcellent creative, conceptual, and problem-solving skillsCommunication skills and an ability to drill down to a customer's requirementsAbility to work within a cross-functional team and handle multiple projects with tight deadlinesExceptional attention to detailKnowledge of industry standard design toolsStrong understanding of motion graphics is a plusDemonstrated knowledge of best practices in brand development, typography, color theory, page layout and iconographyMaintain high standards of qualityCollaborating across the organization to drive up standards of digital creativity
