Senior Graphic Designer

All employees are expected to actively support these values. • Manage and execute the College’s brand and visual identity, ensuring creative consistency across channels and departments; • Partner with the Director of Marketing & Communications on the design of any new branding assets and overall aesthetics of major College marketing and communication efforts; • Manage the design and production of all print and electronic materials, including viewbooks, brochures, and other high-level print publications for Admissions, Advancement, and Academic departments; • Interface effectively with vendors to request quotes, prepare files, negotiate costs, and manage production; • Work with in-house photographer and outside vendors to art direct and offer feedback, including attending shoots to assist as needed and be comfortable taking photos in a backup capacity; • Output environmental/spacial design assets related to marketing-specific needs and other events; • Asset management, organization, design, and oversight to enable the MECA&D community to access self-serve content, including photography, logos, branding, infographics, assets, and templates to foster brand consistency and enable speed to market; • Work with the staff photographer to maintain and organize the image/art database, which includes photography and/or video; • Create graphics, design concepts, and final designs for digital marketing, social media initiatives, and other major marketing and communications projects by partnering with the Marketing & Communications team; • Work with the Marketing & Communications team to apply design thinking methodology for improving CX / UX, identify problem areas/improvements, and assist in new internal or external website design; • Facilitate workshops/presentations for staff and faculty to educate the community about the MECA&D brand and brand guidelines; • Work with artists and/or students to secure permissions and proper attributions for select featured works; • Develop/lead, and manage junior design talent. Qualifications: • Bachelor of Fine Arts, foreign equivalent in Graphics Design, related field, or equivalent work experience required. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
