Senior Graphic Designer

The University of Missouri–St. This role is critical in highlighting UMSL’s excellence and telling the story of the region’s premiere public research university. You should be able to: • Proficiently design in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign on a Mac platform • Design amazing print and digital marketing materials including view books, billboards, digital ads and other marketing materials • Work closely with University Advancement on campaign branding and marketing materials for fundraising priorities, which includes Executive Events • Work closely with the Office of Enrollment Management to create recruitment marketing materials • Work in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Art direct photography shoots • Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation • Develop and express complex messages clearly and concisely • Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing • Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production • Juggle multiple projects for multiple clients while meeting deadlines • Present and explain ideas to internal teams and clients • Take and understand creative direction • Respond positively to feedback from clients and the creative team Additional preferred skills: • Experience working for or with a public or private university or college • Experience in design work that supports fundraising campaigns and/or enrollment marketing for higher education institutions • Creative photography • Motion graphics capabilities • Video editing The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.
