Works closely with the other designers, photographer, writers, and editors to produce materials to enhance the image of the university. Examples of Duties: • Design publications, advertising materials, social media posts, and large format projects from the conception of design through completion • Manage workflow, priorities, and multiple projects at once • Maintain adherence to university brand, logo, and color standards • Meet with university clients to define publication designs, sequences, specs and schedules; determine the needs of the audience; and ensure materials adhere to accepted university brand guidelines • Oversee the development of specifications and cost estimates for printing services according to format, paper stocks, mail specification requirements, inks and volumes; inspect and approve printer proofs to ensure that specifications and standards of accuracy and quality of materials are met • Determine availability of resources to meet requests for preparation and completion of printed matter efficiently and on schedule • Collaborate with writers and editors from Creative services and other departments around campus on developing university publications • Direct and manage photo shoots Review of candidates will begin following the application closing date.
