We're looking for a designer with a strong portfolio, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset who is excited to contribute meaningful work and make a lasting impact on Purdue's brand storytelling. What We're Looking For: Education and Experience Qualified candidates will need: Graphic Designer (P2) Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication design, or closely related field Two (2) years of experience in graphic design, multimedia, or a closely related field, with strong design fundamentals and execution skills. Skills: Superior design and typographic skills, with the ability to create work that resonates with diverse audiences Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat Proficiency across social platforms, including Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn,TikTok, and Facebook Strong knowledge of print production processes, specifications, and applications Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines and budgets Strong understanding of brand strategy and how it connects to broader marketing goals Nice to Have: Experience with Figma or UX/UI design is a plus Experience with After Effects/Motion Graphics is a plus Familiarity with Canva is a plus Additional Information: Purdue will not sponsor employment authorization for this position A background check will be required for employment in this position FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible For Overtime) Retirement Eligibility: Defined Contribution Waiting Period Who We Are: Purdue is a community built on collaboration, with global perspectives, Boilermaker pride and endless opportunity to live, learn and grow.
