Senior Print Designer

Summary An international leather handbags and accessories lifestyle brand is seeking a Senior Print Designer to join our design team at our Knoxville corporate office. This person will support the design team with his or her creativity to manipulate and design prints for our various categories, as well as take on special design projects as they arise. This position will work very closely with Patricia to produce high-quality print files with a quick turnaround time. Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile, or Graphic Design Minimum 5+ years' relevant work experience in print & pattern (preferably leather goods or accessories)Experience and proficiency in working with leather.Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.Strong illustration or painting skillsStrong conceptual and creative thinkingTeam player attitude and strength in building positive working relationshipsStrong sense of color and color palettesExperience in trend forecasting Understanding of the design and development process from inception through final adoptionProactive problem-solving and information seeking-skillsStrong Multi-tasking skills and adaptabilityExperience communicating and collaborating with factoriesAbility to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse groupMust have strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented Broad understanding of the leather goods or accessories industry *Preferred*
